When you create a linQar account and activate a QR tag, we collect:

• Full name and mobile number
• Email address (optional)
• Vehicle registration number (for vehicle tags)
• WhatsApp number (for notifications)
• Device type and IP address when a QR scan occurs
• GPS coordinates (only when you explicitly share location)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To activate and manage your QR tag
• To send you scan notifications via SMS and WhatsApp
• To route masked calls between you and visitors
• To generate your PDF eTag
• To show you scan logs and activity in your dashboard

3. What We Never Share

Your real phone number, email, and personal details are never shared with visitors who scan your QR code. The visitor only sees a generic action page with contact buttons — your actual contact details remain completely private.

4. Data Security

All passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing. OTPs expire within 10 minutes. Session data is secured using PHP session management. We do not store raw OTPs after verification.

5. Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We also use a "remember me" cookie (valid for 30 days) if you choose that option during login. No third-party advertising cookies are used.

6. Third-Party Services

We use Fast2SMS for OTP delivery and WhatsApp notifications. We may use Razorpay for payment processing. These services have their own privacy policies. We do not sell your data to any third party.

7. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. Scan logs are retained for 12 months. You may request deletion of your account by contacting support.

8. Your Rights

• Access the data we hold about you from your dashboard
• Update your profile information at any time
• Request account deletion by contacting support
• Opt out of notifications via tag settings
